THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
My Friend has a Norinco SKS and asked if I could find out some info about it. The pictures he sent are low quality and I can barley make out the info on the gun. Looks like the serial number is 00146 and the receiver say "Trident arms Co. Vernon CA. Any ideas of when it was made and what it might be worth? It is in very good condition.
He also would like a tactical stock with a pistol grip maybe. Are there any that this Norinco will just drop in without any fitting? Are Norincos all the same when it comes to replacement stocks(tactical)? Thanks!

I have a Tapco with an adjustable butt stock on my Yugo. It required a little work to install the upper as the gas tube requires a little filing in the correct spot to make it fit. Works great now and it is lighter. Mine has the bayonet slot while others from the same manufacturer offer a picatinny rail on the bottom. This also gives you a pistol grip as well.... Now I bought a seperate upper with the tube already installed so I didn't have to drill out and replace the pin in the stock handguard in order to use the handguard that comes with the stock. I also wanted to be able to put everything back into absolutely stock condition if needed...
