Those are the only 2 screws. Try a rubber mallet and hit the back of the stock on the top and bottom corner at an angle away from the receiver, alternating between top and bottom- not too hard but solid. It will come out after awhile.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give that a try. They really wedge those things in there, but I guess that's a good thing!

I was looking at the regular wood stock that I keep in the same box. |

Mine did have the 3rd screw with the washer. It did not have any slot for a screw diver , almost like a rounded head rivot, I could not find a way to loosen it. The couple of whacks with the rubber mallet pulled it loose with minimal damage. |
