1975 Russian and 1980 Romanian AKMs.  Deadlined both last week due to excessive headspace.

Since we don't have a East German section, posting these East German AK74s here.  Got them after East/West Germany united after the wall came down.  Picture taking in Scotland summer of 90'.  Very controllable on full auto IIRC.

I literally cannot fit the new 19" 12-gauge in the safe.  it's completely full.

Guess I need to build a cabinet for some of the "less scary looking" guns to get put into....

If you fix that AK, to give back to that contractor you're going to need to tape up a roll of newspaper and smack him on the nose and tell him "No, bad No!" Repeat 2 more times and send him on the way.

Took the Saiga 12 out to shoot at things flying around today.

It wasn't a great day, but it wasn't a shit day either.  The fella I hunt with can't have dags (both kids are DEATHLY allergic sadly) so we improvise when it's time to retrieve.

Took the Saiga 12 out for the last day of the season; we did pretty okay.  A few Canadas, handful of Ruddy, and a trio of Mallards.  I really should get a mod choke for this thing though; there probably would have been another half dozen birds on the ground if I wasn't going cylinder bore.

That and a Zhukov will likely be on it for next year (it's currently as received when I traded for it, and while the collapsing stock works, I think I'll be happier with something that folds).

My Robinson Arms Vepr import, this is my favorite rifle out of all, I even like it more than my NFA rifles and MP5s...

Different Kalashnikov designed weapon.  Started life as either a PKT (coaxial, solenoid) or PKB (aircrew, spade grip) version.  The PK and PKM had the safety on the left side and trunions for a tripod.  This one has the safety on the right and no trunions.  Stock and bipod have been added afterwards.  Built by Tula in 1983.

The reason I keep a lot of 7.62x54R around the house, an M44 and VEPR, both of which I have enjoyed over the years I have owned them.
