In concept most mounts retain zero, but there are a few factors like tension of the clamp and quality of mount, rings or other things. Cheap stuff generally won't hold zero
What kind of scope or scope/mount combo is this? Z |

I use the Molot scope mount. (Purchased from Kalinka optics.)
So far I've had no issues with zero shifting around after a removal and re-install. I also have a Czechpoint railed mount that is designed for the vz58, but fits the vepr very well. This is a great mount that held zero, but i decided i wanted a one piece mount instead. Duffy's up in Sparks MD. Usually has the czechpoint mounts in stock if you are not too far away.
