i used the canis adaptor on my 1998 vepr 308
the simple mod to make the adaptor work was to recut the angle on the reciever 2 wedge cuts that took off 3/16 ths on the bottom followed with some file work |

Looks like a great place to start. Would it have been possible to modify the stock adapter as apposed to the rifle?

i looked at modding the slant on the adaptor
(always mod the cheapest part) without a mill, getting a precise cut was not simple there is also the fire4effect mod  |

As previously stated, the slant geometry is different on the Rob Arms Veprs. If a stock/adapter fits the newer WPA/IO/Legion Veprs, chances are it won't work on the Rob Arms Veprs.
I learned that the hard way on my Rob Arms Vepr, but I was able to return the adapter for a full refund fortunately. |
