I wanted to share my 762 Saiga sporter conversion with you all.  I had completed the sporter conversion with requisite US parts myself, but wanted to have all the unused holes welded closed, needed muzzle device and barrel work done and also wanted to refinish the entire rifle.

Although I know John Thomas from his work on AR15 retros, I asked him to help with this project and he took it and it came out awesome.

Here are the photos, with the end result posted first.  JT had sent me step by step photos and I wanted to share with you.  The finish is a parkerized finish under Aluma-Hyde which JT also handled for me.
