Hey everyone, what kind of optics would be reasonably good for an SVD other than PSO-1?

Many western optics will be effective, you just need a good side rail and quality rings

IMO currently the best Russian side mounts are the NPZ and the Alpha rails



Here's an excellent night vision combo to show the NPZ rail in action

The Lynx SVD mount and the Midwest Industries SVD mount are the two new-comers in regards to mounting modern optics to a Tigr/SVD/NDM-86, which (along with the mounts Tx-Zen mentioned)will allow you to run pretty much whatever optic you want.
