Saw a converted Saiga at a gun show.  It had a stainless steel, flat steel button or pressure pad, installed over and slightly behind the trigger.  It looked like extra holes had been drilled in receiver to accommodate this.  Guy selling it had no idea what it was.  What sayeth the HIVE?  The "button" could be pressed "up" into receiver.

Ahh--is that standard on Saiga or a "value-added" option?

Standard, most people remove them after a conversion since it's location makes it easy to bump into while firing.
