Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - different scope mount options for Super Vepr 308?

I purchased one of these that someone converted to an more of an AK type configuration. The previous owner cut off the existing scope mount. What mounting options do I have at this point? If it matters he did a very clean job cutting off the factory mount.

If converted to traditional AK style --Lost the sporter stock and using AK butt and some kind of hand guard, I'd bolt or rivet a side rail on and use a side mount.
