If modified, the Vepr 12 would require (6) US parts. Easy swaps are the FCG (3 parts) and muzzle device. US mags count as (3) parts.
With regard to 922r, the specific type of AK is insignificant. Stamped receiver AK's require (6) US-made parts to be 922r compliant. Milled receiver AK's only require (5) US-made parts due to the front trunnion being part of the receiver. |

so if you just do the FCG, can you not use the Molot mag that comes with it?

You can also change out the gas puck as a part.CSS has them.
