THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct980.aspx Trigger group: does it come with a US-made trigger group or can I replace the stock trigger group with a standard Tapco G2 FCG? Handguards: I take it that it needs a bolt on bracket to use a MI AK lower handguard. For the upper forend, can I use a standard AK gas tube on the MD2 without modification? Pistol Grip: will it take a Tapco SAW PG without modification. Thanks! |

It already has 3 U.S. parts with he g2 trigger group installed.
You just need two more. A choate drugnov style stock, made for the stamped Chinese variant will work with a bit of fitting. Also I suggest this http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-61/SAIGA-forearm-rifle-tri-dsh-rail/Detail You don't need any odd hand guard retainer. It should be bolt on. It's very well made. Has internal metal reinforcement. |

Also, is the bullet guide riveted / screwed in or is it a fixed part of the trunion? Thanks! |

The bullet guide is screwed and then tac welded in by Atlantic's gunsmiths. I was told this job was NOT done by red jacket but in house. |
