I have a 8X POSP mounted on the MI low side mount which in its self is a phenomenal piece of equipment,,, using 50+ year old silver tip, accuracy is completely acceptable out to the 300 M I have tested and boy does that 7.62.X54 thump the plate

What Barrel length is you VEPR ? Just curious as to the inherent accuracy of the various barrel lengths. That is a good looking set up.

Looks like the 23 inch version.
I want one so bad, but I'm holding off until we found out for sure whether there will be a double stack version with a straight backed receiver. |

Straight from WPA's mouth. I just received a reply to an email I sent them.
54R in double stack will never happen from Molot. Straight cut receivers are a possibility.
Unfortunate about the double stack. Straight cut would be awesome. |

There are alot of things being currently disccused with the Russians on the Vepr line however we really never know until they actually say yes . The straight cut guns are part of the discussion but nothing has been finalized yet.
