I did some light reading on Google and it looks like the WASR-10 is stamped.  How can I tell looking at my own rifle?

This is the one I purchased:

If rivits are holding your front and rear trunnions in, it's stamped.  As are all WASR 10s

ETA:  Look at your receiver, see how it is folded sheetmetal.

Stamped AK's have a small oval/bubble shaped indention above the magwell, milled versions have a longer, much larger, rectangle shaped area cut out in the same spot.

WASRs usually don't have the dimples, even though they are stamped receivers.

OP's link is a great example.  The right side pic, is a M70, with dimples.  The left side pic is a WASR with no dimple, but rivet for the inserts for the single stack mags.

It looks like the one in the image has dimples.

Yes, that's what I said.  That one with the yugo grip has dimples.  The second image, of a wasr, does not.

As MisterPX noted - milled receivers are threaded or bored for the stock and barrel attachments, so they don't have rivets holding the trunions to the receiver. Stamped guns get machined pieces of steel riveted to the receiver to accept the stock and barrel (stock trunion and barrel trunion), so have those big rivets.

Dimples to help position the magazine are optional - the grooves on the milled receiver are to reduce weight somewhat in that non-critical area.

ETA fix MisterPX's name
