I think that is good when it is tight. Use it enough and it will loosen up by itself. IMHO.

You can loosen it up by backing off the nut that puts pressure against the stock arms. You should be able to find a good detailed post covering it on the net. Yes, I'm being lazy.

Have you shot it yet? They will loosen considerably after even just a single mag.
