Was looking to pick another one up, checked the usual places but can't find them. Between shipments?

I see them on Armslist and Gunbroker on a regular basis. Check those two places. Gunbroker first unless you want to pay double or more.

the prevailing rumor, I have read on gun based sites, is that Cugir temporary halted export of them. I have not seen nothing as a official public release from the Cugir factory about that. so you can choose to believe that rumor or not.

I have a current Century catalog. Not one single Romy gun in it. Yugo [Serbian], & US Century make AK's only. So any Wasr's for sale have already been in the country a while. GARY

I grabbed one Monday locally for $575. Had to, these are gonna skyrocket after Billary. Got some Rommy dong wood coming from Apex right now.

I had hell finding one with the bayonet lug and muzzle brake under $700. There were quit a few without those features. I think they are drying up and are going to keep going up in $$$$$

The WASR-10 is currently not being imported and hasn't been for quite a while now, no one knows when or if they'll be back at all so they are becoming "scarce", there are some used ones on GB that you might be able to get for around $600-$650. Centerfire has new ones on their site with the bayonet lug for $750 (cash price...add 3% for credit card purchase). I assume that they were holding them back so they could be sold at a premium when the supply ran out throughout the US??

I purchased mine from Atlantic in December 2015 for $629.00.

They have gone up a $100.

$629?? Man i remember paying $449 for my WASR before the ammo/gun apocalypse of 2008/12. I see prices have DEFINITELY gone up on what formerly was a very inexpensive way to get into the AK game.

2001 SAR1 $390 and I got robbed at the time they were going for $289 a lot of the times

$449 for a crappy WASR being a good price? I bought multiple SAR-1s for $349. Sold one of them for $1,200 during the Sandy Hook panic.

Those we the salad days. $75 AK parts kits with barrels, I believe $79 milled AK receivers, $35 Romanian trainer 22s....Etc.

Better than what I paid. Atlantic charged $670 + $30 for shipping and then I paid $25 for the transfer. Another $125 for my plum furniture. Could've bought the Arsenal SLR-107-11P for the same price by the time I was done.
