I've got a SAR1 and need to pick up a sling.  Anyone have recommendations on a place to pick up a sling?  I do not want a leather one.

Also, I'd like to thread the muzzle for a slant brake.  I know I'll need to get the spring and plunger as well.

CNC Warrior for the threading die, alignment tool and spring & plunger.   Watch the EE for slings.

I'll second CNC Warrior. They have good products and prices. You could always use a crush washer instead of the spring and plunger. They sell AK sized crush washers for like $2 at CNC Warrior.

Picked up my sling on Ebay pretty cheap, a Romanian leather one.

Centerfire Systems has 5 packs of green nylon AK slings for $10.
