The best group I ever got out of my PSL was 4" and it would string shots when it got remotely hot. My SGL21 prints tighter groups. I was using Wolf 148 and Uly ammo. I sold my PSL with other guns for a SCAR H where I shoot 2 MOA or less. I love the look of the PSL, but I could never get pretty groups with it and the whole fitting mags to the rifle got me miffed and I sold it. If I had to go down the close as I am going to get to a Dragunov road again I would go Vepr. I do miss the rifle though. I would get a G2/Red Star Arms trigger and put a PKM Flash hider to try to improve groups. I have also heard of people chopping the barrel on PSL for better accuracy as well. Good luck.

Wolf sells two 148gr versions...the standard black box (basically surplus ammo except it has non corrosive primers) and the Gold (made by Privi with brass cases and boxer primers)––-likely the best commercial LB you'll find. However, the Gold won't turn a 4 moa shooter into a sub-moa shooter.

I have had 4 PSLs and none of them shot worse than a 3" group with Wolf steel cased 148 FMJ. My best one shoots under 2" groups consistently.
