I was at a local gun shop on Saturday and I saw a WASR 3 with an Arsenal "Circle 10" 5.56 mag in it.  I used to have a WASR 3 and only used the steel Weiger mags in it.  I know that 5.56 AK's are quite particular as to which mags work with them.  I asked the clerk if the  Arsenal "Circle 10" 5.56 mags could actually be used with the WASR 3, and he said, "Yeah, sure".

Call me a skeptic, but I doubt this, as it was seated pretty tight in the mag well and I could not get it out.  Do you folks know if these mags work and feed well in WASR 3 or SAR 3 rifles?  That would really be cool, as I have several Arsenal "Circle 10" 5.56 mags.

I did find a pic from a website that shows a SAR 3 with a Bulgy Circle 10 5.56 mag.  It does not state how well the mag functions though.

In my SAR-3, I only use Circle 10 Bulgarian 5.56mm magazines.  Sold all my Weiger mags.

Here is a link to ensure that the magazines will work/fit.

Hello,
Same as above. That is all I use in my SAR3, do not like metal mags.

They also run perfectly in my Yugo M90

Thanks for your help guys.  I modified two Bulgy 5.56 mags to use on my SAR 3 and they work really well.  I'm going to mod the rest of them as well.

I run Bulgy waffles in my SAR-3.  I just had to shaved alittle material off the rear of the feedlips above the locking lug to clear the center support in the receiver, and they now fit perfectly and function flawlessly.
