Hi there,

cause of our extrem stupid gun laws it is kind of difficult to get our hands on AK47-type rifles.
Saiga-expensiv, Arsenal-problemswith original parts and Cugir-ok, affordable but rare to get.
Now there are SDM AK47-type rifle coming in.
From my understanding they are Norincos? is that true? What can I expect from them.
Any idea?

You are talking about the new Sino Defense Manufacturing AK's that are being exported from China now. They are not allowed in the US but maybe another European member can talk about them?



















The photo in this discussion shows a European pattern design with a front sight that is not hooded and a black bolt carrier, unlike the one in the video above.

Yeah, I guess its one of them....but is this not the civilian version of the Norinco AK47?
