Anyone mount a Zhukov on a Polytech? I'd like to try one on my spiker but as it's not a drop-in fit I like to know if anyone has been successful before I alter the stock.

It took me 3 evenings worth of work to make the MOE handguard to fit on my Norinco. I can figure out  how much more trouble it would be to make the Zhukov fit it would.

Not sure how close a Polytech is to a Norinco but Magpul says the Zhukov stock will not fit a a Norinco 56s due to differences in the stock trunion..
I mounter a Moe M-LOK handguard to my Norinco 56. Mine was easier then Marks only requiring 30-40 mins with the dremal and a razor blade but defiantly worth it.
I think the problem is the thickness of the 56's stamped receiver metal which is almost as thick as a milled receiver.
