Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - why cant I de-press my detent in on my AKMS FSB??

I want to remove the three prong FS on my AKMS and install a slant break.  For some reason I cant press the detent down.  It moves a bit but wont go in???

The pin on the front sight might need to be removed if it is not depressing far enough.

I think this is the problem with my brand new arsenal sam7uf I press the detent down and it wont clear the muzzle nut is stuck In the halfway down position currently im going to run a few hundred rounds through it and see if it comes free
