I have a Poly Tech AKS-SP i bought in the early 90s.Can Anyone tell me anything about them.Has the plastic Dragunov type stock.I read somewhere that the SP stands for sport.it is a sporty little rifle.

Is this the one with the bayonet lugs cut off and muzzle nut welded on?
I think these are the ones caught in customs during the ban and had to be modified to be legal to sell.
I'm pretty sure you can remove the thumbhole stock and bring it back to its former glory as long as you follow 922r laws.
