THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I recently bought a Mak90 with the butthole stock but it was originally intended to be an under folder since it has the plugs in the receiver and a tab welded to the rear to screw the stock on. I have been looking all over the web and cannot find any underfolding stocks for sale except on ak47world.com but I get the impression that is not the best place to send my money. If you know anyone with one of these stocks please let me know! |

You can get several flavors of folders from Apex Gun parts for less than $100. That being said, none are OEM Chinese. I'd check around before you drop the coin and see if someone can verify that they'll fit.

Polytechparts has the underfolder for $100 but no hardware.

It was a little more that what they were at Ak47world but I felt my money would get stolen. I have not read a single good thing about the guy at ak47world and my suspicions were backed up by his lack of communication right off the bat. I emailed him several times and called about 3 different numbers and he finally called me back. He said he would send me a Paypal invoice but I didn't see one for about two days and by that time another forum member emailed me about an under folding stock he needed to get rid of so I should be very grateful that he got to me in time. Just post a WTB ad on a bunch of different gun forums and you should have one come your way eventually. |

Well it appears your worries were well founded. I got a conformation email but never an email advising it had been shipped. He told via via email it had been shipped, must have got lost, and that he would get back to me. Well that never happened. I hadn't really heard anything about them. Guess I should have googled it.
