THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I've got a Mak90 with all Tapco furnitire (Front handguards top/bottom and stock) as well as a metal dustcover with a picatinny rail on it. I'm trying to find an old dustcover from a Mak90 that somebody may not want anymore, but aside from that. Is anybody manufacturing stock dust covers for my gun? I heard polytechparts.com was, but I was having a time trying to find it. Or could you point me in the direction of a website or somebody in particular that might have a 1990's dustcover for my gun, that they may not be using?
mine was imported in 1994, is this, or will it be a collectors item? I was thinking of refinishing the wooden handgaurds that I have (I don't have the stock :( ) and getting a wooden stock somewhere and refinishing that too. Not sure if that would destroy the value of it later. Thanks alot!

NP- Anytime.

Yes you should put preban wood on it. Check the Equipment Exchange in here- see orange tab upper right ^. Polytechparts has handguards and pistol grips. You can also find complete sets on gunbroker but they are often $200 +. Here are some more wood options:

nfinished Chicom wood on the bay

Chinese stock w/o hardware cheap

Handguaards on the bay

Thanks bud! Yea I did find that stock earlier, but without the hardware I'm not sure I could use it on my AK. Unless my Tapco uses the same hardware and I can just switch out the stocks. Really wish I had the factor dustcover (with matching serial) and wood stock, I know people have different tastes but I never liked Tacticool AKs.

I have an extra Chinese dust cover I'm getting rid of if you're interested.

I found a nice wood stock that worked for my BWK here. It cleaned up nice and matched my original wood.

Didn't say but it looks chinese to me. It matched my original wood really closely. I used the Bullyseye Amber Shellac and it turned out nice.
