THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Everything looks new or hardly used.Got a good price for it.Should have it middle of next week. Its the complete rear stock with the trunnion. How much are these worth in said condition? I know they are nearly impossible to find and the cleaning kit is even harder to find. Sold all of my Chinese AK's so i may sell it or build my own 56s-2 Bakelite sidefolder. **found this pic for a reference**

I've seen them go for $500-$800. Just make sure that it's not one that someone pulled off of those Chinese pellet guns.

It's legit, you're good. The $800 price was stocks that come with the correct pistol grip and handguards too.

I've been watching these for quite some time and the most I've seen a complete set actually sell for was 500

A complete set sold on EE not long ago for $600.It was NIB ,which is very rare.
From what i have been checking the bakelite hand guards are worth @ $70-75 ( figured high) so im going to adjust the price accordingly.I also found out that some of the rifles that came with this rear stock had the wood grip and hand guards. Not many but some were made like that.I think the bakelite pieces look better imo though. Have to look at it good when it gets here before a final price is determined.Hell i may keep it,just have to wait until i get it in my hands on it to check it out. I have seen the cleaning kit go for $50 by itself sometime last year. I'll update in this thread when it arrives to give a heads up when it may be listed in EE for those interested. |

A polytech one sold on gunbroker yesterday for about 1650. It had only one picture and was from a brand new seller with no history both of which will lessen desirability. I figure the gun was probably worth about 2k. |

I agree, a new seller wont command a premium price as you take a risk. These models have increased rapidly over the past 1-2 years. The one above in the link for $3300 no way is it worth that much. Most i would pay would be $2k for a NIB.Used @$1500-1700 depending on condition, etc. Just got the stock, its used but not abused. No cracks in the bakelite, cleaning kit is mint with everything there.Stock locks and folds perfectly.Have the correct grip coming tomorrow. Also have on its way,a super rare bakelite Chinese Hand guard set from a Vietnam bringback AK with the bayonet cutouts in it.Matches the rest of the stock in color and adds the option of putting on a spiker bayonet. This may turn out to be a really sweet base for a build for someone.Pics when i have all the pieces in the set here at the house. |

Complete stock is going up on the EE here shortly.Im not going to give this away as i would love to build a 56S-2 with this if it doesnt sell.I kinda hope it doesnt sell to tell the truth.
It may also go to gunbroker in a few days. |
