THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I have a guy that wants to trade me a Norinco MAK 91 National Match rifle with a milled receiver. I can't find them for sale so I will resort to the experts It is my understanding these are actually Poly Tec and stamped norinco The rifle is in very good condition but has been fired. What's it worth to sell? |

NIB it would be about $1000-$1200. Since its used and depending on the condition I would say $750-$900. These are basically Poly Tech Legend National Matches converted to MAK's. It will have the circle 386 stamp on it. Basically you would be getting a Legend at a much lesser cost. Great Gun!!!

Not sure what the NHM91 NM goes for now but it should look a little like my pre-ban NM, at least the reciever should. They are nice AK's and I think it would bring around 1k if it was in nice condition. Here are a couple of pics of my pre-ban NM. I bought this in San Antonio on consignment a few years ago and haven't seen another one around here since.
pay no attention to "kalashakitty" in this pic ! She likes to hang around me and my guns! ![]() |

Hey hemicharger, that is the prettiest ak I have ever seen, you are sooooo lucky! Do you have a hemi charger? If so you have me beat again big-time, I have a 73 roadrunner that is my baby! But alas, it is only a 340 car. |

Hello 49North,
Thanks for the compliment on the AK. Yeah , it is really pretty but it is heavy with the 20" barrel and the bipod mounted on it. Shoots like a dream though. I actually do have a Hemicharger. I bought it a long time ago from a friend and co-worker of my brothers. It is a numbers-matching 1969 Hemi R/T, R6 red with white vinyl top , interior and stripe. I am just finishing up a rotisserie restoration on it and it does look pretty. Cannot wait to drive it now. The Hemi dynoed at 588hp at 6500 rpm. Alas , it is a 727 auto though. I , actually like to drive the auto though and it also has been thoroughly gone thru too and is the numbers-matching model. A 340 '73 Roadrunner is a very nice combo and I am sure you are very proud of her. I would be. You got your MAK91 at a good price and should also be proud of it. They are getting harder and harder to find at a reasonable price down here (North Houston area). |

If you are talking to me, No, I do not have the rest of the mount system or a scope for it. Not sure what happened to the other pieces as all that was on consignment in a S. A. gunshop when I got it was the rifle. At least the flash hider was still original and everything was in great shape. It is a heavy brute with the 20" barrel and the bipod attached but it is pretty, shoots fantastic and pretty rare to find around here. I am glad I bought it when I did.
