So I have been trying to get my AMD's furniture right for me, my last bump in the road is the butt stock... I am wanting an M4 style one like the one in this pic here :

I believe he used this adapter, if so what else do you need after the adapter? http://fostechoutdoors.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=14

My question is, what process did this guy use for this stock? What are all the parts I would need for this?

Thanks, Mike

Get a Stormwerkz hinge (they sell one for the ar15 buffer tube setup)
then get a buffer tube, castle nut, end plate and stock of your choice...

simple as that.

The AMD65 has a unique rear trunion in the receiver. You would have to remanufacture the back end of it to accommodate a standard trunion that can accept the adapter for the stock. That means the rivet pattern in the receiver is different. You would have to remove the rivets, remove the rear trunion, drill new holes in the receiver, install the new trunion, adapter and stock. Personally I wouldn't do it.

Just build the AMD on your typical AKM receiver with the fixed stock trunnion. Once that's done, you can buttstock to your heart's content.

That's the ticket. I didn't know you were building one - I thought you were modifying an existing one.
