Just ordered an AK63D from Copes which shuld be here next week. Paid a little extra for hand-select but a coupon for free shipping offset that. Have a Romy hammer forged chrome lined barrel to throw into it. Since I don't have the equipment to do a proper heat treating, going to wait and purchase a receiver here in a week or two instead of using my buddy's jig to bend a flat (spot heat treating doesn't cut it for me). Will post pics when things start to get rolling. Haven't done a build in a couple of years so we shall what I remember and what I've forgotten .

Can't wait to see the pictures. I have been thinking of picking up a kit myself.
