I have a Question for the AMP 69 owners here. Is the sight rail on the AMP the same size as a russian ak rail and can it accept standard POSP scopes? Also will the AMP grenade sight fit on a russian rail? Thanks.

I'm not sure if you will find your answer here. I bet there's only a handful of those rifles in the states. I have only ever seen of them and that was with out the optic.

The AMP-69 used a two piece optical rail. It is very similar to the early Soviet one used on the AKMN and RPKN (1960~1966) with the IR NSP-2 scope.
I believe you could actually modify one of the Soviet scope rails to be near identical.

Stottman's Book "the AK47 catalog Volume 4" has good pictures of an AMP-69 with a rail.
