THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT If it has something like a 14" bbl, that is fine, but a 4" long muzzle break seems ridiculous to me. |

Yes it is 12" with a long barrel extension/compensator spot welded to the barrel. Cant' beat that price for a true Hungarian made AK. |

The AMD-65 platform with the original barrel (and tacked extension) built on an FEG receiver, is an excellent weapon. I've had one for years and it is one of my favorite rifles. I only use the original Polish 20 round tanker magazines due to the forward pistol grip.

That really is a great deal.. I've seen them going for substantially more locally and online.
The 12 inch barrel and flash hider really isn't that big of a deal, looks great and throws a sweet fireball! |

It turns out that you can use 30-round mags with it - or I should say, at least I can on mine, and it has both original pistol grips. |

Here's my FEG AMD65 I purchased in early 2010 and I've been very happy.
The weld on the brake has NOT broke yet, but the magazine opening is a little sloppy. I've also cut a slot in the rear left side of the receiver and installed a proper sling swivel loop. It looks great and functions as it should. Overall...it's an excellent rifle and glad I added it to my collection. Here's some pics before I cut the slot for the sling loop in the receiver.
