THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I recently received my amd 65 from buds. It looks great, stocks folds up tight, sights are straight, mag locks up fine, etc. When I went to field strip it I couldn't remove the gas tube however. I could pull it almost to the top where it refused to budge. I have a variety of AKs and soviet guns in general so I am mostly familiar with the design and disassembly. Any suggestions? Thanks

Use a wooden implement to lever it out - after all, it was installed as it is so it can be removed. Take note of where it's binding in case you want to adjust it, but I would be very cautious about doing anything like that until I was sure exactly what needs to be done. You could mess up the factory fit by filing at the wrong place. What you definitely do not do is to file on the cam that locks it in place.
