nope not from magpul, i think they would hit gold if they made k-mags, not that they did not with p-mags. their rubber magpuls for 5.56 will fit metal ak mags, i have not tried them on a polymer. tapco makes polymer mags that fit the amd. i would think the us palm mags would work fine as well, but they are $30 a pop. There are some bulgarian waffle mags and russian and a couple other makes out there that may work. i would stay away from pro-mag and thermold. there are also bulgarian bullet mags, but they have mixed reviews. You will know them if you see them, they have rounds printed on the side of the mag. some dont like the tapco either. i would just buy one or two of the one you settle on and see how it works for you. depending on how the magwell is on the gun may determine the fit of the polymers. i have some waffles that dont fit my norinco (dont feel like sanding them to fit.)
as far as i know tapco makes the only 20 rounders in polymer, there maybe others just not seen them. bullet mag
us palm mag midwest industries tapco mags tapco mags bulgarian waffle waffle |

I run Tapco 30 round through mine without an issue. They are about $10 at Cheaper than Dirt.

Use Chinese, Romanian, Russian, Bulgarian, Egyptian, Hungarian, ect. It doesn't have to say "AMD-65" specifically. |

Depending on who built your AMD-65, you may need a US mag to be 922r compliant or replace the follower and floor plates on standard surplus euro 7.62 mags.

And you know what? the Thermold AK mags have the best fit of ANY magazine I have tried (and I have many different kinds) in my AMD65 and SA85M.

As said previously, any 30 round magazine will work...will take a little patience when inserting and/or removing due to the front pistol grip.
I use nothing but original Polish "tanker" 20 round steel magazines on my AMD-65. These mags were issued for this rifle. You should not experience any problems with these magazines. |
