Came sans muzzle brake, so I had ADCO attach the Tapco model.

Not new and not much, but it's new to me and pretty nifty. I am considering adding handguards of some type and perhaps a triangle side-folder if I can get someone to do the work. I may also pick up a few 20rd. magazines, too

Just finished my first duracoat, happens to be a AMD 65. AM Stripe duracoat. Very very time consuming process as the pattern stencil left behind adhesive in certain areas especially the magazines, plus this is a tough gun to work on. Had to redo certain areas more than a few times and pattern got messed up in parts of the upper half of gun but I can live with it. Will do another duracoat after 10-20k rounds and a new barrel install.

Best pics I could do. This gun has the amdtech cheek piece, three hole brake muzzle, ultimate safety, ghost front sight ring and micro post(ghost ring not installing until re-zero time), sling ring and recoil buffer. Just a UTG quad rail that houses remote green laser, flashlight(both can come off quickly) and a mako grip. Range fun gun and the ultimate home defensive/offensive weapon.

This is my go-to "fighting rifle," hence the rough rattlecan paint job. It's a TGI AMD-65 on a FEG receiver with a Midwest Industries rail, Mapgul RVG, Magpul ladder rail covers, Hogue pistol grip, AMD-65 Tech stock adapter, and a Surefire G2 light on a VLTOR mount (not pictured in first pic). Recoil is nothing, and the rifle is built very well for being a $499 gun. Everything is straight, no canted sights, minimal mag wobble, and rock solid stock for being a folder. The whole build cost me under $1k, and it lives in a blue Larue MkII covert case in my car. Couldn't ask for much more out of this little guy! ...except maybe a free Aimpoint Micro or RMR...

God damn that's a good looking rifle.  Where did you get the brake, I need to change mine out as its a bit over gased.  Did you need to bore it out for the 7.62?

First thanks for the compliments, a lot of time and different parts went into this rifle until i got it exactly how i wanted and needless to say i am VERY happy with it.(you never really know what you want until you try something and realize it doesnt work then try something else etc)

I got the brake off ebay, however the day after i ordered a member on here or akfiles cant remember which showed me it here for cheaper. Its original polish so counts against 922r so keep that in mind. And no, no boring was needed.

After getting it sighted in with trs25 red dot...this is a 5 shot group at 100 yards bench rested. Idk if i could do this again(i only ever bench rest to sight in after that its always off hand training).

The red circle is exactly 3" ...also note the trs25 is a 3 moa red dot

I bought this FEG Kassnar back in 1991/92 and I still have it and use it today.
Me in 92 near Eurika, UT

</a>" />

This is it with a Egyptian crutch folder. This is the way I keep it most of the time.

</a>" />

But some times I change it back which only takes a few minutes to do the swap.
The mag in the gun is a BFPU Yugo BHO with a picture of Jesus pasted to it.

All numbers matching AMD-65 Made in Hungary at the FEG firearms factory and imported by TGI. Never fired, I purchased back in 2008 left it sitting in safe and forgot about it. Original military hammer forged chrome-lined barrel, FEG SA2000M receiver etc. Came with Tapco G-2 trigger, extended flash suppressor and 20 round mag. Purchased 3 original Hungarian surplus 20 round tanker mags which were used in the AMD-65 by the Hungarian military by troops in their mechanized division. To date the AMD-65 is the shortest and lightest AKM variant in the US. These haven't been imported for several years now, only thing left are parts kits which are mostly built on a US Nodak Spud receiver being assembled by smaller firearm manufacturers and individuals.

Here's mine.  I have owned it about 20 years and was told by the original owner that he never fired it.  This is a Kassnar import underfolder.  The wood is a little darker than I have seen it on other guns of the same era.

Just brought home today.  AKM 63.  Built using a NoDak stamped receiver.  All Hungarian parts have matching #'s. Tapco G2 Trigger, AK slant muzzle brake, and gas piston are US.  Mags are very tight, rivets are tight, and front sight is actually straight.  :)
