That review and an older copy of SWAT (2/03) with a Krebs AK74 did it. Finally went to order one and after receiving it, have no regrets. BRD and now AKD.

Thanks for the nice words all. I was the one fortunate enough to do the T&E for the article.

Most Sincerely.

If my memory isn't fading, I think there later was one on the SLR-106FR as well. Both were major contributing factors to buy both rifles. SAR is my favorite.

I love my arsenal. Hasn't failed me yet. Glad I got it before prices went up.

Is there a reason we keep resurrecting a six year old thread?

Anyone going to the SAR show next month in Phoenix? K-Var will be there with the last of the SLR105s we have. We have half dozen rifles with blemishes, scratches, dents, double stamping etc…. that will be discounted at the show. They have all been sighted and test fired at Arsenal and come with Arsenal’s one year manufacture’s guarantee. Come by and take a look.

Is there any way we can order directly from you now?

The reason we are selling them at the show is because they are all cosmetically blemished guns. We want people to be able to see them first before making the purchase.
