Yep- I never had an appreciation for an Ak ... until I saw one that was pulled from a mucky swamp - weapon was draining H2O, complete with stringy green blobs of goo stuck to it - pulled trigger and weapon fired ...

Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble actually attaching a picture for a specific example, but can anyone tell me if most of these polymer stock AK's in this thread are the Warsaw Pact length or the slightly longer NATO length? If you can provide a picture with the answer, that would be even better! Many thanks! |
|
|
The "Nato" length stock is a Kvar invention and to my knowledge no country uses them.

The "NATO" lenght is 1.25" longer than the "Warsaw" lenght; which is good for those of us that want a longer LOP than the one on the standard stocks; AFAIK, the LOP on a "warsaw" stock is 12" while the NATO length LOP is 14". |

Haha I love how our guys stay behind the wall while the Iraqi knocks on the door. Its their country....they are ultimately responsible.

I think Bulgaria has surpassed Russia in AK production, quality, and proliferation.

Last time I saw those handguards for sale was '09 or '10. They were sold for $399, if I remember correctly. Definitely look quite nice and I would think a US company could make a ton of money with a replica.
