I keep reading that the finish is weak, and some cleaners will damage it.
Anyway, I prefer not to ruin mine.

I've always used Ballistol.

Hoppes will take the finish right off and so will any industrial grade solvent.

Do not use Gun Scrubber.

Breakfree CLP ... That is all that I have ever used / needed.  It works great and is safe.

You laugh, but he's right you know. A dry rag is about the best option.

Love the smell of that stuff.

I haven't had any issues with Weapon Shield.

A warm damp cloth, but not to warm.   ;)
