So i came across an Arsenal SA-93. I would like to deban it. Looking for some help finding the correct parts to make it as close to a type 3 AKK as possible. Would prefer wood furniture but Bakelite will work to.
Thanks

You need the Type 3 parts from Kvar for a proper conversion.
The T3 gas tube (AK-080BH), the FSB (BI-040), the rear sling swivel (AK-129BC), the lower tang (AK-209), and the lower handguard retained with cleaning rod hole (AK-338CL).
You might also need the front sling loop (AK-128L) but I forget.
The correct wood stock sets have pretty much dried up, but the plastic/bakelite sets are still somewhat obtainable. Check with Northridge International
Here is a link with more info on the SA93 to T3 conversion.

Thanks for the info. I found a plastic/Bakelite set for 30 bucks. Should I pick it up? I'm new to the forum so I really appreciate the responses. Made me feel welcome. Hope to update thread when I deban it.

If its in nice condition, yes.
Just don't buy a crappy looking set to save a few bucks. You'll regret it.

if they are the sets from Desert Fox Sales, just be aware that they may have a buncha trench art all over them. I recently purchased a few sets. Every single set had stuff carved into the stocks and handguards. I think they look better that way, but if you are expecting new sets, you may be disappointed. Here is a couple shots of the best set I got after I put them on my G-Tech SSR-99. The piece on the side of the stock is of a guy holding his girl standing on an island under some palm trees.

Do you have a link for the ones with the trench art? I don't see them at the Desert Fox site.

They say nothing about it on their site. Maybe call them to make sure you get a nice, well used set if that's what you are after. Maybe it was just luck of the draw for me, but I kinda doubt it.
