So i put an Ergo grip on one of my 107CR's.Still has gap like all the others :-(

are there any grips that fit the reinforcement plate besides the factory? just curious if the Ergo bugs me too much

The only one I found that fits the plate is the US Palm battle grip and I have heard that the Molot also works.

+1 on the US Palm grip. Only modding I did was to take an emory board to mine once installed to knock a little flashing off the edge of the grip where it met the plate.

only problem with the us palm is it drives my hand into the receiver and causes the folding stock pivot area to rub my hand raw in about 2 minutes

I had a magpul and switched to a US Palm and it fits perfect. (no gap)

I switched mine from the factory grip straight to a US Palm. Didn't realize that there was a gap problem.

I would relieve my pistol grip like that, but I already ground a good bit off the top to add a Echo93 sling adapter and not make the grip kinda wonky.

What did you use to modify the grip? I'd put a magpul on my SLR-107 if it weren't for the gap.

I didn't have a dremel so I used a small bench sander and a cordless drill and small bit for the radius at the back of the plate. I marked the radius with a chalkline while the grip was installed. I would say your dremel tool would be your best friend for this mod.
