I was thinking about putting in a G2 trigger in, Is it that much better than stock.

I like the G2 more than the stock Arsenal 2-stage trigger. The G2 has a light (~3.5-4lb) single stage trigger pull. There is some mush before the trigger breaks. Unlike the Arsenal trigger, there is no wall that the trigger hits before it breaks.

Overall it's a much lighter trigger and has a shorter overall trigger travel.

You can find plenty of videos to show what the trigger looks like when pulled.

I much prefer the smoothened Arsenal trigger. In stock form, it is very gritty. I like solid clean breaks instead of the unpredictable break from a G2.

I prefer a smoothed out Arsenal trigger over the G2, the break feels more predictable to me.

I hate Arsenal triggers - tried to polish triggers out on 3 Arsenals and ending switching all of them to G2s with Krebs's retaining plates.  Wanted to like the Arsenal trigger, but could not.

I prefer the g2 over the stock trigger from my SLR-107FR.

For what it's worth, Geissele is rolling out their AK trigger soon to be shown at SHOT...

Single stage or two stage?

They said single stage and for just $49!

Oh, that's very nice!

Stock SLR trigger is easily modified by grinding down the hump that creates the two stage feel. The SLR has a better feel with most of that hump gone.

I look forward to see what Geissele comes up with. I like my AR SSA. However if some tapcos  need modifications in some receivers I assume the Geissele will also.

+1 on the g2. The stock trigger on my slr107fr was horrible.

Just like most Chicom triggers, I dig the smoothness of the G2 but can't stand the unpredictable break.

Same here. I replaced it with an Arsenal single stage.

I am very happy with my polished trigger that came with my SAR 2. It took the trigger slap mod and a polish to fix it.

I just got my 107FR today and i really like the Arsenal trigger much better than the G2 in my Khyber build.

A bit gritty, but the trigger breaks very nicely. This will do fine until i can try out a Geissele enhanced AK FCG.

I have a G2 trigger on my SLR-95 and I like it.  I feels the same as my SAM-7 (Thats the original SAM-7)...I am not sure what the newer ones have.

I like the G2.
