What would one need to change this:
 To this:  I know K-VAR has some that use the 4.5mm pin but I'm not sure if these use the 5mm pin. |

Just a replacement buttstock. drive out the pin on the old, replace with the new stock, and done. Its a 2-3 minute job.

On a 106 it is a 4.5mm pin stock Kvar has what you need...

That's so weird that on one model they use a 4.5mm pin and on another model a 5mm one.

That's so weird that on one model they use a 4.5mm pin and on another model a 5mm one. not really, they're just keeping the guns true to the guns they emulate from their countries of origin, the SLR's use 4.5mm pins because that's what bulgaria uses in their stamped folders and the SGL rifles use 5.5mm since that's what russia is currently using in it's rifles |

this is what I replaced mine with.

Featuring a scope rail recess, smooth turning sling swivel, ribbed metal butt plate with cleaning kit trap door and butt stock catch release button. Cleaning kit sold separately. |

I like the triangle better. Better cheek weld since they have a straight comb, whereas the polymer one has the dip at the front. Though, I do shoot nose to receiver, so may not effect those who do not.
