Thinking of getting a Arsenal SLR-107FR from Atlantic Firearms.  Are the SLR-107FR a high quality AKM variants?  Or are they junk and not worth the extra money?

Of current production stamped receiver AK rifles, the SLR's are among the best. Some would argue they are the best. I own a 7.62 and a 5.45
If prior production stamped AK's were in the mix, the only one I would say is better is a Chicom. They have thicker receivers and top notch triggers.

SLR's are well made, solid rifles. I have a 7.62x39 and 5.45. they are 2 of my favorites.

How are the sights on the slr's? Do you see the typical ak canted sights?

I just traded into a SLR107CR. Straightest sights I've seen on an AK. That 100 series folder is the shit.  Love the balance of the CR. Reminds me of the AMD65.
