Just a plain Jane, vanilla SA93, with KVar furniture.   Brought it out today,  and I bet it's been 4 or 5 years since it saw daylight.

I just cut and crowned his SLR-107CR (got the eform back approved a couple weeks ago, had to wait for tools to come in...and to get up the nerve to go at it with a hacksaw).

This is my first kit build, from an AK Builder Bulgy parts kit on an NDS receiver.
Need a bakelite mag to complete the look, and a plum one for her other furniture.

Lots of sexy pictures in this thread.

Here's a ban era SLR-101, and two shots of a SAS M7 made immediately after the 2004 ban expired.

Yup, Bulgy sidefolder parts kit from AK Builder on an NDS2-SF receiver.
It's the same gun as the one I posted with the wood furniture; my first kit build.

Where did you find that tube for the collapsible stock?

Is it ZenitCo? If so, I thought they only made them for the Russian patterned stocks.

How do you like it? Is the lock up solid?

I can still fold it enough to fit in my redneck tennis bag....locks up tight, no play. Had to open and close it a bit to not be so stiff. Jmac customs only made a limiyed run first go around and i believe they still have some left.

Hows the balance feel on that SLR107CR?

Does that muzzle break make it feel end heavy?

No, not to me. I added a light to the front last night and still it balances.  I will say this rifle feels heavy after a daylong carbine course.

I dont get to spend much at a time on this rifle (or any other rifle) as we have a large fam. I would love to have the barrel cut and have the 103 brake pinned on or better, SBR. Not in the near future at least.

Arsenal SAM 7SF with:
Arsenal rail system
A forward grip
Aimpoint T1
Krebbs safety (which are awesome)
and a Tromix bolt on charging handle (which are also awesome).

Just got my new 107FR in plum.Added a RS Regulate AK301,AKML mount, and an Aimpoint R1 micro red dot, and a Russian Mustard sling with a sling quiet on the clasp.

Did a little Rit Dye job on the US Palm grip and the Micro cover.

Update- Added 3 teaspoons of dark brown Rit Dye to make the micro cover more plum than it originally came out.
