Thanks. Its an awkward eye relief and very heavy. It looks good but not something i would use other than short limited range use.
I decided to go with a Aimpoint T1 micro with the RS AKML rail mount for compact lightweight heavy duty use.Just need to get the mount and im good to go.

Decided to go plum, now if I could just find a plum 5.56 magazine I'd be good to go.

AKS-74 numbers matching 1990 circle 10 kit with original bbl and matching bayonet/scabbard built on an armory USA receiver. The build is SOLID and looks great. It has the proper pistol grip side folder reinforcement plate.

I bought this from another forum member "pearlwhitemike"

Just recently picked up an SLR-106UR, switched out the polymer stock for the metal, I think it looks a lot better. I got a good deal on a dummy PBS-5, but when I got it I found that it wouldn't fit the 106UR (not long enough to make contact with the threads) so I ended up JB welding it to a spare thread protector, doesn't look too bad, I still need to clean it up and refinish it.

I had Dan (grizzly50cal) build this for me. He has an ad in the EE for AK builds.
It was a Bulgarian parts kit with a virgin Bulgy barrel. The receiver is from Nodak Spud, don't remember the model number but it's the one that is pre-cut for the side folding stocks.
