I made some blonde furniture for it but haven't welded the tang yet, so it is still black with the thumbhole stock.

I added my Aimpoint PRO to my SLR-107 using an RS Regulate mount.

My Current setup is:
Aimpoint
ALG trigger
Manticore Nightbrake
HSP Weaponlight on an RS Regulate mount
VCAS AK sling
Russian plum handguards and plum arsenal pistol grip
I run either soviet surplus red polymer mags or Circle 10s usually
Finally, I added an SVD check rest and paracord wrapped the triangle stock.

I am expecting to get the ACOG TA33 7.62x39 (red reticle) I ordered next week and it'll be a lot of fun switching between optics.

Any thoughts or critques? I am thinking about suppressing but I keeping hearing that suppressing an AK is a huge pain in the ass

Suppressing an AK can be tricky, or used to be... if you have those 24mm threads, griffin makes an adapter for that to get you back to American thread pitch in 556 or 762... as long as it indexes properly, which griffins adapters index on the crown not the threads, so you have your best odds everything is concentric... I suppressed my AK74, and was surprised how quiet it was with the open gas system and all... not AR quiet, but no rifle really is...

dig your set up, will be getting a primary arms 1-6 AK scope to swap on and off to sort of have a "recce" ak...
