Hi - I own a new, unfired, Arsenal SGL-20.  The safety lever does not disengage as easy as my SAM-7R or my Saiga Sporter rifle.   Any tips on how to modify this to make it disengage easier?  I don't want to muck it up.

Regards

Just carefully pull it outward to bend it slightly.

If you can't get a grip on it, put some fishing line under it and pull that.

Be careful, man, or you'll be looking for a new safety. Many AK safeties are stiff. When the safety is 'on', you want it to stay 'on' - that's a good thing. You can learn to take it 'off' slowly and quietly if that's required.
