I just bought an extended MI rail for my SGL31 and didn't realize the front sling mount would get in the way. What are my options to deal with this?

1- Remove the gas block and front mount (not in favor)
2- Grind off the front sling mount (in favor b/c I have a belt grinder that could do the job)

What is the best way to solve this issue?

maxxmojo Member Joined: Oct 2010 WA, USA Posts: 277 Feedback: 100% (1) Link To This Post	Posted: 5/26/2012 11:20:40 PM Someone somewhere has a handguard retainer that clamps on or has a screw going through the top to you can install it without removing anything from the barrel, they're mostly used for Saiga conversions. If you ever decided to go back, that is.
