Does anyone own one of these or have any recent experience with this company?

I noticed that no one had replied to your thread. I do not own a Blackheart built AK, and have actually never heard of them. However, I too have been scanning the market again considering another AK47 style rifle.

I did take a look at their website, and, judging from the photos and information about their products, they seem to be a good prospect for a good quality American made AK. I wasn't sure, however, if they sell their products directly through their website, or you have to go through a dealer. All their rifles appear to have a chrome-lined US made barrel. However, I didn't see where any of their AKs have a side-mount optics rail. I do like an optics rail.

Maybe someone with first-hand knowledge of the company and their products will chime in...
