I have a spare new Bulgarian bolt, the same type that is in my SLR-107FR. Will it work in a WASR-10, assuming the headspace checks out?

Yes, a long a headspace is correct.

I thought the 100 series and the 107's used the skinnier bolt. I think you'd have to use the bolt and carrier, not just the bolt. I could be wrong, been quite a few years since I've had a 107.

107 is not really a 100 series, it's a clone.  It has the full diameter 7.39 bolt stem with a spring loaded firing pin and does not have the bump rivet.
