What is less desirable about American made AK's? -sincere question as I am not familiar with the AK platform

OP - Take a look at the Vepr FM-AK47-11. Russian made and everything I've read is positive. I've only had mine for about a week but no issues thus far.

Great looking rifle. I ordered one recently. It should arrive at my FFL tomorrow. (WASR Wednesday ...). I bought it after synthesizing all of the advice here and in other forums. It's a "can't go wrong" purchase.
