The man himself installed a few parts like the UFM short and long rails, safety, M4 stock adapter and peep sights onto my old SAR1 AK47 and also one of my 74's, where is the I'm not worthy emoji?

Not exactly self advertising at least for the products in the video, but a hair close to promoting ones on youtube channel. I will allow it for now, but only because I haven't seen spam from this user before.

Can you get low enough to use the iron sights with this adapter? I've tried the gen 1 Rd adapter, and the canis adapter but both raised the stock to an uncomfortable height for irons for me.

That's a great question and while you can use the iron sights still it isn't ideal because, similar to other adapters, it brings the stock directly rearward vs the drop on a standard AK stock. The plus is that it's more comfortable to get a proper cheek weld for optics at the cost of a proper cheek weld for iron sights. |

I went up on a weekend to take a tour, pick a few things up and visit with him and was planning on doing the install video myself but when Marc offered I jumped on the chance to film the guru at work.  The long rail was what we were going to focus on but it sort of morphed from there. Very little I do actually goes according to plan, in this case it worked out way better than planned. Marc's a helluva nice guy and I love getting to hang out with him.
